Sowing machine SSDx
The SSDx is a sowing drill designed mainly for sowing equipment requiring minimal soil processing. It is outstanding in working in soil that has not been prepared perfectly, delivers the grain to the needed depth even at working speed up to 15 km/hour.
The main unit of the SSDx is comprised of two rows of single-disc units with rigid rubber block suspension and a tire roller – each tire shapes two rows. The tire roller also serves as a driving axle.
To this base the sowing superstructure is attached; this can be a conventional mechanism such as a roller sowing mechanism (for example FIONA) or it can accommodate a pneumatic sowing mechanism (for example ACCORD). An appropriate control mechanism, from a very simple one, connected to a single hydraulic circuit, to a very sophisticated electronic control unit, can be chosen.
